Well Child Checkup
A Well Child Check up is required for all children under the age of 21.
The
Well Child Checkup includes:
- Health history and development assessment
- Complete physical exam
- Vision and hearing check up
- Laboratory tests
- Immunizations
- Health education
Some health problems are not visible to parents or teachers, and may only be found by a doctor or nurse, or though lab tests.
Health problems found early are usually easier to treat, and will decrease any long-term problems.
